We've all seen some houses or buildings that we can't believe someone actually chose the color and followed through with it to complete the whole space. But, for my preference, once you've chosen the body color, especially if it is in a mid to dark value, the worst thing you can do is pick a bright white for the trim, facia and soffit. This makes the the space look unattached. This building has very nice architectural features but it looks like the trim is floating out in space. When choosing a color scheme for the exterior you have to consider all the elements in the 'picture' to create a unified space. With the body color shown here, I would have chosen a trim color with the same common ingredients found in the body color. That's what makes it 'work'! I suggest using Benjamin Moore's Manchester Tan or Olympic Mountains for a cohesive look.
